Randstad is currently partnered with a local Geelong Client seeking a Fleet and Security Operations Coordinator for a contract role until March 2024. It is a full time - 5 days/w in office role. Main work location is Geelong.
Your new role
The Fleet and Security Operations Coordinator will be primarily responsible for the operational management of all security services and vehicles within the organisation. The role is also responsible for the provision of travel services.
- Efficiently manage fleet and lease vehicle arrangements, including repairs, maintenance, insurance, and parking.
- Foster effective partnerships with key business areas, providing options and solutions to support their needs.
- Provide security support to accommodation sites and act as Deputy Chief Warden during emergencies.
- Respond promptly to Operations and Fleet & Security requests through CS Help desk.
- Establish and maintain positive relationships with service providers and contractors, ensuring contract compliance and value for money.
- Contribute to the development of Operations team policies and practices for optimal service delivery.
- Assist Corporate Services Manager in team and divisional planning, including budget preparation and management.
- Supervise contracted security staff, ensuring quality performance of security and reception tasks.
- Collaborate with external stakeholders to identify efficiency improvements related to fleet and security activities.
- Manage leased vehicle orders, maintenance, repairs, insurance, and GPS/duress systems.
- Develop and maintain efficient travel systems for staff, acting as contract manager for Corporate Travel.
- Oversee Cab Charge and Link accounts on behalf of.
- Ensure operational delivery of security functions, including CCTV and access control systems.
- Provide security support in partnership with HSW for Behaviours of Concern.
- Demonstrate flexibility to assist in other areas within the Corporate Services team.
- Cultivate relationships with staff and building owners' representatives for productive outcomes.
- Administer and manage desk booking, locker allocation, and car park booking systems.
- Handle building operational and maintenance issues, including after-hours attendance when necessary.
- Collaborate with Building Maintenance Coordinator for building maintenance tasks and upgrades.
- Assist in office design and reconfiguration to meet business requirements.
- Support Corporate Services Manager in team and divisional planning.
What you'll need to succeed
- Extensive experience in the management of security teams and activities.
- Demonstrated high level of experience in customer service and service delivery.
- Experience in the management of administrative functions.
- High level skills in PC applications including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Visio.
- Experience in the management and delivery of projects.
- Prior experience in a Facilities Coordinator role.
- Ability to work in a small dynamic team
- Excellent time management skills

- Full time, 5 days per week in the office
- Once a week/fortnight must work in the Melbourne office
