job detailsThe EL1 Assistant Director of Hypercare presents an exciting opportunity to join a new and growing team within a large Federal Government agency.
Based in Richmond, accessible via multiple public transport options, on offer is a 12 month contract based opportunity with a strong chance for renewal beyond. A flexible, hybrid working environment ensures a great work-life balance position with some time required in office however individual circumstances are assessed on a case by case basis. This is a full time position (Monday-Friday) paying $602.55p/day plus super.
Working with a Service Design Planning Branch the Hypercare team supports the national rollout of a new CRM. In addition, the team provides hypercare support for each major and BAU production release of the system.

Duties and responsibilities in these positions include but are not limited to
- Interpreting complex data and developing reports and documentation detailing complex issues for senior leaders and the team.
- Setting up Multi-Disciplinary Teams (MDTs) and leading complex collaboration meetings involving large groups of stakeholders, keeping stakeholders informed and drawing them towards solutions.
- Undertaking performance assessments and supporting the leadership team with performance management of their teams.
- Supporting the development of team culture, improving processes and developing ways of working.
- Strong project management skills to support release prioritization work.
- Developing Jira queries, or others via MS Tools, to support issues investigation.
The ideal candidate for this role will be professional, confident and have demonstrated experience in the following areas
- Process Improvement: Experience in recommending and implementing process improvements
- Building Customer Relationships and Stakeholder Management
- Planning, Coaching and Support Talent
- Project Management
- Strong Decision Making, Negotiation and Influencing Skills
- Cross-functional collaboration: Ability to work collaboratively with team members from various disciplines
- Strong Written and Verbal Communication Skills
Although not essential, the following qualifications/experience will be held in high regard when shortlisting application;
- Confident user of Jira and confluence
- Experience working within a Hypercare Setting
What will you need to be successful in this role
As this role will be working within a Federal Department, it is essential that you:
- Are an Australian Citizen
- currently hold or have the ability to pass a national police check
- Availability to work full-time hours Monday - Friday on a long term basis
