It is headquartered and listed in Australian stock exchange and employs nearly 15000 staff in over 20 countries is the world's largest asset manager in infrastructure and Australia's top ranked mergers and acquisitions adviser with almost half a trillion dollars in assets under management.
About the role
An immense growth in their Banking and Financial Services portfolio has led them to run major data transformation programmes. Hence an exciting opportunity has come up in their offices in Australia. They are urgently looking for two Senior Data Analysts to provide critical support to their growing portfolio and provide a robust data management structure in their growing team. You would need to have previous work experience in working in wealth banking programmes and a passion in analysing the data and providing information to the stakeholders (sales, account management department) to make informed business decisions.
Skill Sets
You need to have the following skill sets to excel in this role:
- 5+ years experience working in a similar Senior Data Analyst/Manager role
- Team leading experience will be nice to have
- Experience working in Wealth Management will be highly regarded.
- Prior experience working within a banking sector (must have)
- Exceptional SQL, analytical and problem-solving skills and the ability to Analyse complex systems and translate technical needs to business outcomes.
- Experience working with stakeholders ideally the sales department, Business Development or account manager function
- Experience wrangling data using SQL/Alteryx and Python/R, working with cloud platforms incl. AWS and GCP will be viewed favourably
- A passionate design advocate committed to best practice and sharing ideas and inspiration within the team.
- Experience with CRM tools e.g. Salesforce or Microsoft 365 CRM
It is an urgent position, and my client is interviewing candidates at the moment. It is an exceptional opportunity for someone who has strong Data analysis experience and has worked in large data transformation projects involving SQL.
Eligibility:
Australian Permanent Residents, Citizens or candidates with full Australian working rights (for more than one year). Candidates without a work permit/visa are not eligible for this position.
