About your new role:

The Business partner will work to support managers through the employment lifecycles in relation to recruitment, organisational change, employee matters and policy implementation. Your role involves providing specialist HR advice, reviewing and developing HR policies and procedures, leading new projects and initiatives, supporting investigations into workplace issues in alignment with the Council standards and agreements.
What you will need to excel:
- A qualification in human resources or substantial experience as a human resource practitioner
- Demonstrated ER/IR experience
- Sound knowledge of contemporary HR practices
- Proficient in fostering and sustaining productive working relationships through strong engagement abilities
- Adept at interpreting and providing advice in relation to the set policies, procedures and Enterprise Agreements
- Skilled in performance management and fostering productive work relationships
Desirable:
- Previous local government experience
