Job Description
You will be working closely alongside the firm's commercial Counsel to deliver exceptional client service, predominantly in the areas of procurement, general commercial law, loans, securities, complex transactions and drafting of contracts.
This position offers an abundant array of opportunities to work alongside top performing lawyers in a fast paced environment. With the ability and autonomy to act in both transactional and advisory matters, this role requires you to advise on:
- Mergers and acquisitions
- Private equity
- Shareholder Agreements
- Share Sale Agreements
- Asset Sale Agreements
- Due Diligence Reports
- Corporations Act advice
- Joint venture agreements.
- Non-disclosure agreements.
The Successful Applicant
- Have a minimum of 3 years' post admission experience;
- Experience with corporate transactions including mergers and acquisitions;
- Understand the Corporations Act and ASX Listing Rules and knowledge of ASIC and ASX requirements;
- Be prepared to work on urgent Takeover Panel matters;
- Have a demonstrated ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment with time management skills;
- Have a high level of attention to detail and accuracy in written and oral communication skills;
- Be confident in managing client relationships and client confidentiality; and
- Be an engaged and collegiate team member who has a focus on corporate law.
