Job Description
The Manager compliance and enforcement is responsible for:
- Plan, lead and manage service delivery across a range of compliance functions and initiatives
- Lead and manage a team of compliance and enforcement staff and work collaboratively to embed a culture of continuous improvement
- Provide advice and key support to the Director Governance, Legal, Risk & Compliance and Executive Leadership Team on performance, issues, trends and opportunities relating to strategic and operational compliance and enforcement objectives to enable strategic decision processes and major or critical issues
- Provide strategic and operational direction, support and oversight to ensure investigations, proactive compliance and related enforcement activities address priority risks, meet requisite standards of quality, timeliness and efficiency and that investigative conduct is of the highest integrity.
The Successful Applicant
The successful applicant will have:
- Extensive experience in the research, development and implementation of strategic and operational compliance and enforcement plans, programs and initiatives
- Strong leadership experience
- Demonstrated ability to provide advice and support on performance, issues, trends and opportunities relating to strategic and operational compliance and enforcement objectives
- Experience in the implementation of projects including digital/technology projects focused on improving customer channels and the overall customer experience
- Strong ability to maintain composure under pressure and effectively make decisions in fast-paced environments when faced with competing priorities and strict deadlines
- High level communication, stakeholder engagement and collaboration skills.
