Job Description

- Creating workpapers, financial statements, and tax returns for clients of varying wealth levels, including individuals, trusts, and companies.
- Handling BAS/IAS preparation tasks.
- Collaborating within a team to tackle ad hoc taxation and business advisory projects as needed.
- Engaging in effective communication with external stakeholders.

The Successful Applicant

As a qualified accountant, you should have at least 3 years of experience in an Australian Chartered accountant firm preparing financial statements and taxation returns for clients. It is important that you are familiar with technology-based systems that make accounting and tax administration processes more efficient. Expertise with accounting software such as Xero or similar is highly desirable.

- A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Commerce
- Experience working in a Taxation role (preferable) in an Australian Chartered accounting firm.
- Proven ability to engage with stakeholders and build strong working relationships with individuals from diverse backgrounds and cultures.
- Meticulous attention to detail and a thorough, systematic approach to problem-solving.
- Experience working with XERO
- Ability to work autonomously and as a part of the team.
- Has CA qualification or has commenced their CA studies
