We have a unique opportunity for a Workplace Design and Implementation Engineer to join our Architecture and Engineering team. You will have a broad and balanced mix of skills covering a variety of technologies and capabilities, specifically across Modern Device Management, VDI and M365. This role has a large degree of client contact and the successful candidate will be comfortable in engaging with technical and business teams in identifying the best solutions for both DXC and clients.

The ideal candidate will be experienced in developing detailed designs and solutions based on requirements and making technical decisions about the best approach to align to roadmaps and architectural direction. The candidate would have demonstratable experience in M365 (Office 365, Exchange), VDI (Citrix Cloud, Microsoft AVD) and Modern Device Management (Microsoft Intune, Microsoft Managed Device).

Experience and Skills:Demonstrated experience of M365 / 0365 in an enterprise environmentGood understanding of Azure Active Directory in an enterprise environment.Good understanding of Intune, Modern Management and Windows as a ServiceDemonstrated experience with Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops and Citrix Cloud.Demonstrated experience with Citrix ADC.Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Azure Virtual Desktop.Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Azure.Demonstrated experience working in enterprise environments.Demonstrated experience in enterprise solution design.Experience creating technical documentation including solution documents and bill of materials.Providing consulting to sales teams to validate the solution components and arrive at resource estimation. Thorough understanding of the engineering lifecycle, including translating business requirements into solutions.Experience with technology transition and transformation activities.Experience with government and enterprise customers.Good understanding of scripting languages and application packaging techniques.Strong communication skills, ability to communicate with customers, DXC teams and management.Strong skills at managing risks during implementations.Ability to create and maintain formal and informal networks.Work with customer and solution delivery teams to develop Statements of Work (SOW).Provide subject matter expertise in either collaboration and/or network and/or security solutions to assist the boarder business when required.Work with the project delivery team as design authority / technical escalation for projectsAbility to lead and work in a team environment.Must have at least 5 years relevant experience in a similar role.
