About Our ClientOur client is an International Transport and Logistics provider, and you will make up part of the team who manage their vast network of vehicles and equipment. With a network of over 1800 drivers nationally, and over 800 staff, the sky is the limit once you get a foot in the door with this organisation!
Job Description
You will be working closely with drivers at the site to ensure customer requirements are being met, including monitoring driver performance, ensuring that there is an appropriate number of drivers, and allocating drivers and resources for delivery of excellent service and satisfied customers.
You will be working closely with Operations Supervisors to support them in their role. The role will also involve pricing of jobs and management of contracts, as well as transport planning, scheduling, all whilst keeping within budgets.
You will also be responsible for fleet maintenance and compliance management.
The Successful Applicant
- A strong customer focus with strong stakeholder management skills
- Sound understanding of the transport industry
- Operational experience in a similar role
- Intermediate computer skills
- Current drivers licence and your own vehicle
- National police clearance
