job detailsRandstad Education is seeking a Diploma Lead Educator for a permanent part time role, working 4 days Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday running the 2-3 program.
About the organisation
The position available is with a privately owned and operated service which provides education and care for children from 3 months of age to 6 years old children who embrace a play based curriculum. They are a small ELC with 45 children daily and have been running for many years with a great reputation in the community. They have an abundance of resources and equipment for you to be able to create stimulating programs for the children. Above award wages are being offered - dependent on experience and qualifications.
About the 2-3 Room
You will be in charge of the toddler room, consisting of 8 children and 3 assistant educators. Programming and planning experience is a must and you need to be confident using the EYLF. You will receive 4 hours of program planning per week to plan engaging and developmental activities for the children. You will work with dedicated and friendly team of educators who will contribute to the program plans
Qualifications/Requirements
- Hold or working towards an ACECQA approved Cert III or Diploma qualification
- Current Working with Children's Check
- Current Anaphylaxis, Asthma, CPR and First Aid Certificates or willingness to obtain one
- Current Child Protection Training or willingness to obtain one
- Must have experience as an Educator or Room Leader
