Due to rapid business growth, they are now opening their doors to multiple credit analysts ranging in experience to join their team on a permanent basis.
Job Description
- Conduct assessment of loans in accordance with Company Policies;
- MPS1 Credit Application and Evaluation with use of GPS5 Risk Framework as a general guideline.
- Assessment is within the analyst's own delegation or recommended up when outside to higher delegation holder.
- All applications will be processed via the Broker Portal.
- Scenarios include potential deal submissions where the sales representative is not available.
- Decisions include requests for further information/clarification and declining a deal due to incompatibility with Company Criteria.
- Includes settlements requests for asset pricing or marking off of approval conditions;
- Sales requests for deal escalations (urgent assessment) and clarification on post approval matters e.g. inspection reports, bank statement conditions.
- includes Settlement Spreadsheet Sign Off when rostered on to do so.
The Successful Applicant
- Tertiary qualification in banking, finance, commerce, economics, law or related field and/or relevant industry experience of equivalent weighting.
- Understanding of fraud detection techniques
- Good understanding of Chattel Mortgage, Commercial Hire Purchase and Finance Lease products
- Basic understanding of current legislative requirements, Corporations Act, NCCP, PPSA, AML & CTF and Privacy Act
