The role and benefits
In this role, you will work directly with our clients in the Maritime, Air, Land, and Joint divisions of Defence to drive the development of procurement and approach-to-market documentation for the acquisition and sustainment of Australia's leading military capabilities.

Role requirements
Given the nature of our work, an AGSVA security clearance at the Baseline level is required as a minimum, although NV1 or above is highly desirable.
We are seeking applications from lawyers or other professional advisors with between 1-5 years of experience advising Government clients on major Defence, ICT or non-materiel projects, in the areas of:procurement and tendering,contract drafting and negotiation,Government policy and compliance, andprobity.
Applicants with over 5 years experience are also encouraged to apply.
Experience gained in a Defence context is particularly desirable, including experience drafting, negotiating and delivering procurements utilising the ASDEFCON contracting suite.
A degree in law, project management, business or a related discipline is essential. If you are an admitted lawyer, we will also sponsor your practising certificate.
