The team at Penske Australia have an opening for a trade-qualified Diesel Mechanic to join their experienced and dedicated workshop team at our Wacol branch.

In this role you will be carrying out servicing across our diverse range of premium brands and getting hands-on within a dynamic team environment. Diverse service work including diagnosis, servicing and minor/major repairs. Actively contribute towards an ongoing improvement culture in the safety, quality and productivity of the team. Provide great customer service. Carry out hands on service work in both the workshop and field environments.
About you: Trade qualified Diesel Technician with experience in heavy vehicles and/or industry experienced Light Vehicle Mechanic with a commitment to upskilling as a Diesel Mechanic. Practical knowledge of a service operation with expertise in operating machinery, tools and equipment; Have a strong background maintaining, servicing and repairing trucks and heavy vehicles; Sound technical knowledge and experience in American or European Trucks, eg Volvo, Mack Scania or Kenworth. Experience in Western Star, MAN Trucks & Bus, Dennis Eagle, Detroit and Allison Transmission product is desirable. Ability to work unsupervised and follow instructions; Team player who will adhere to and promote the Company's Purpose & Values.
