Manager, First Nations Programs (Executive Level 1)

This is an ideal role for an experience leader who is willing to share their specialist
national experience with Indigenous cultural heritage, community development and
the creative industries with their team and the broader business community.

In this role you will:

establish and implement a unique community outreach and engagement
model, developing new relations and professional development partnerships
between the business and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and
communities.
lead the delivery of high-level and frontline outreach services to numerous
Indigenous peoples, organisations, and community members to strengthen
cultural and professional capabilities.
lead the implementation of professional development outreach initiatives
such as the Cultural Connections Initiative, Encounters Fellowships
programs and support the Museums partnership with the
Western Australian Museums Emerging Curators program.
Be responsible for the design, implementation and facilitation of program
workshops, meetings and program delivery including coordinating and
arranging logistics, as well as program compliance, financial management,
reporting and evaluation.
Be the primary contact for program participants, community members and
stakeholders at the business official events, offering high-level pastoral
care.

APS5 Programs Officer

In this role you will work closely with the Manager and Coordinator, providing critical
program administration support the First Nations Outreach programs unit with the
delivery of agreed services to Indigenous peoples, organisations, and community
members to strengthen cultural and professional capabilities.

As a successful candidate, you will:
bring experience in working with Indigenous cultural heritage, community
engagement and the creative industries.
have experience in providing support to the management and organisation of
First Nations Outreach Programs in busy and dynamic situations, and will
therefore have the ability to bring initiative, personal drive and analytical
problem-solving skills to the role.
have exceptional administrative skills and enjoy being well-organised and
have strong attention to detail.
have a professional image and enjoy liaising with a range of people.
work in a fast-paced environment where priorities shift and your ability to be
adaptable to change is paramount.
