About Us
Healthcare Australia (HCA) is a National organisation that provides a variety of direct and indirect (Agency) services to the Healthcare Sector. We are currently experiencing high demand for our Youth and Community Care services in the Newcastle Regions and looking for committed and energetic Residential Youth Workers to join our team to deliver these services. We have immediate demand with clients needing support in the following suburbs: Mount Hutton, Cameron Park, Mayfield, Maitland, Waratah and Cessnock (and in surrounding areas)
About the Role
You will be supporting young people with Mental Health and/or Youth in crisis. Your role will further include:
Supporting Young people in Residential Setting Appling trauma and developmental informed approach to support our young people Ensure their needs are set as outlined within their individual plans Demonstrate a positive and encouraging environment to help engage our young people to develop life skills Proactively be involved in activities and assist with meeting their personal goals and live with greater independence Maintain accurate and detailed shift reports, incidents reports ad progress notes Adapt well with change and manage challenging situations quickly Ability to work collaborative in a team and autonomously What's on Offer
