Responsible for implementing programmes to build employees' skills and capabilities to support the future needs of AIAThe key responsibilities or actions, specific to leading learning projects:
1. Lead the AIA Learning program focused on the development of the Capability Framework and achievement of minimum industry professional standards
2. Develop the detailed project plan in conjunction with business stakeholders and AIAs RTO partner, and coordinate, track and monitor implementation against plan including execution risks, issues and escalations
3. Ensure overall compliance with all relevant external bodies - including contract requirements, quality assurance, accreditation and legislation
4. Lead the accreditation process within AIA to achieve the program outcomes while ensuring business continuity and performance is not impacted
5. Lead the internal certification management function and developing the governance framework, processes and systems to manage qualifications
6. Provide guidance, coaching and consultation on AIA Continuing Professional Development frameworks and Recognition of Prior Learning approaches that support capability uplift
7. Provide guidance and direction on the learning design and development principles required to support learning
8. Audit and report on the performance of the Certification function, budget and achievement of required outcomes.
9. Lead risk through coordination of internal audits to ensure learning is delivered in accordance with ASQA requirements

11. Ensure overall compliance with all relevant external bodies - including contract requirements, quality assurance, accreditation and legislation
12. Establish and maintain relationships with industry bodies to remain current with industry developments & training package updates
13. Identify opportunities to create new accreditation and career progression opportunities the will credential AIA people in defined competencies
14. Review and continually improving the AIA programs and learning frameworks ensuring effectiveness and alignment to business plans and outcomes
15. Performs other responsibilities and duties periodically assigned by supervisor to meet reasonable operational and/or other requirement
