Job Description
- Conduct a comprehensive analysis of the market, including consumer preferences, trends, and competitive landscape.
- Identify opportunities for growth and potential gaps in the market that your products can address.
- Drive sales by implementing strategic direction, long & short term objectives
- Manage all aspects of customers' account, category reviews/ development, new line presentation, promotional planning, etc;
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key retail customers, understanding their needs and challenges
- Develop a sales strategy to achieve revenue growth for existing products, incorporating promotional campaigns and marketing efforts.
- Implement branding initiatives through advertising, social media, and partnerships to enhance brand visibility.
- Consider dynamic pricing for promotions and special offers to attract customers while maintaining profitability.
- Continuously analyse sales data, market trends, and customer feedback to refine strategies.
- Collaborate with various teams, including marketing, sales, and product development, to align strategies and execution.
- Define key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure growth, sales objectives, and profitability.
- Regularly assess progress and adapt strategies to achieve desired business outcomes.
The Successful Applicant
- The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of success working in a similar position for a small to medium sized organisation within the FMCG sector.
- You will be a results driven sales professional who is keen to work closely with motivated leadership teams locally as well as internationally to understand products, marketing and business objectives.
- Leverage qualifications in Commerce, Business, or Marketing.
- Apply experience as an Account Manager, focusing on client needs.
- Utilise on-premise sales exposure for tailored strategies.
- Demonstrate commercial insight for strategic decision-making.
- Employ strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Show adept planning and coordination abilities.
- Be personable, articulate, and build positive relationships.
