Transport for NSW is the lead agency of the NSW Transport cluster. Our role is to lead the development of a safe, efficient, integrated transport system that keeps people and goods moving, connects communities and shapes the future of our cities, centres and regions.

We are responsible for strategy, planning, policy, regulation, funding allocation and other non-service delivery functions for all modes of transport in NSW including road, rail, ferry, light rail, point to point, regional air, cycling and walking.
We focus on improving the customer experience and contract public and private operators to deliver customer-focused transport services on our behalf.

We also lead the procurement of transport infrastructure and oversee delivery through project delivery offices and industry delivery partners.

About the team

The role will be part of a team implementing industry-leading systems and applications to collect and manage project information.

The role will also lead the design, development, support and maintenance of systems and applications to collect and manage project and contract information, including ensuring continuous improvement in how information is managed throughout the project lifecycle with user-centric, integrated solutions.

The opportunity

We are excited to be actively recruiting for a Senior Manager Solutions Delivery to join our team

Contribute to developing and implementing programs to enhance project information systems and applications to support divisional projects based on a defined business architecture while ensuring integration with existing data platform infrastructure and compliance to data governance and technology frameworks and best practices. Lead the development and documentation of user stories and functional requirements based on stakeholder needs and subsequent translation into technical requirements to inform application and system development. Lead the transformation of technical requirements into well designed solutions to ensure appropriate applications and systems are developed or sourced to meet the stakeholder business requirements. Lead the provision and management of user support, including development and maintenance of user guides, application training packages, call triage, adherence to SLAs, defect logging and escalation, application performance monitoring, and adherence to associated defined application governance.

You are a tertiary qualified or have significant relevant experience.
