As the independent consulting arm of Worley, Advisian provides integrated strategy, management and technical consulting solutions to clients within the energy, infrastructure and resources sectors.We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Engineering Geologist or Senior Geotechnical Engineer to join our Geosciences Service Line. This is a full-time position, based in Perth.
Our Geosciences Service Line comprises a professional blend of services operating state-wide, regionally and across global opportunities from front-end concept and strategy studies to detail design and operational requirements for a range of diverse clients in the renewables, mining, infrastructure and hydrocarbons sectors.

In this role, the key responsibilities will include: Supporting the growth of the Advisian Geosciences business locally, regionally and globally from our base in Perth by working on a wide variety of projects and a range of geotechnical and engineering geological tasks Selling, securing and delivering geotechnical inputs to internal and external clients on behalf of Advisian, including strategy and concept studies, site investigation, design, construction supervision, operational requirements and client advice Pricing, programming and managing small to large site investigations across a variety of projects which may include periods on site and developing/analysing creative design solutions for our customers Delivering high quality technical work and maintaining high quality reporting standards A strong commercial focus Building and sustaining strong and diverse internal and external client relationships.
To be successful in the role you will have: 7+ years of relevant consulting experience in geotechnical design, site investigations, analysis and reporting in geotechnical engineering consulting and be considered a competent allrounder A relevant tertiary qualification in geotechnical or engineering geology related subjects An ability to work as part of an expanding team with a diverse complement of team members A proven background scoping, procuring, managing and reporting geotechnical site investigations including hands on field experience in accordance with Australian and equivalent global standards Demonstrated experience using Geostudio or RocScience analytical tools, or other similar geotechnical packages Preferably, have experience in Leapfrog, gINT, GeoLogismiki, Surfer and Plaxis modelling or equivalent FEA capability Preferable experience conducting field mapping, inspections and geohazard assessments Well-developed and diverse understanding and knowledge of geotechnics Excellent verbal and written communication skills An ability and desire to travel regionally and internationally (as COVID restrictions permit) Personality traits demonstrating respect, being a team player, maintaining a positive attitude, and enjoying your contributions to the workplace.
