The Venue:Premium dining and entertainment Hub in South-West Sydney. With stunning fit-outs for the outlets throughout the whole venue, it is no surprise that they are the market leaders and a foodie destination for the South.
The Role:
We are looking for Commis, Demi Chefs to CDP levels, who are enthusiasts and want career growth. Chefs who are interested in food, new trends and ingredients. Your day-to-day operations, and responsibilities include (but are not limited to)
Working on a section Monitoring prep and stock levels Being coachable and great attitude The right candidate:
Will have experience with high volume, quick turnover and be highly organised Is passionate about food and the industry. You will also be mentored by a well-known and high-profile Chef, teaching you about everything from cooking skills, people management and how to run the numbers side of things and actually running the business side of things.
The hours and the salary:
There are multiple opportunities at the moment for Chefs to work as casual, PT or FT:
FT max 40 hrs a week, flexibility to do 4 days on /3days off Single shifts : 7am -3pm or 11am-9pm The salary depends on the contract and the position
As a reference a Full Time Chef de Partie is paid up to $68K+S Anything over 152hrs in 4 weeks is paid as Overtime Penalties for weekends and public holidays Uniforms provided Whats great about this role:
