About the Role ...
- Providing specialist support with the maintenance, development and capacity management of the network, security and Unified Communications (UC) services at a regional level. This position fills a senior role in the Infrastructure team of the Enterprise Technology Services group.
- Improving and maintaining the stability, capability and availability of the relevant IT infrastructure and all related environments through a structure of company standards.
- Responsible for the day to day stability and operation of the corporate network, security and UC services.
Responsibilities include
- Responsible for the day to day stability and operation of the corporate network, security and UC services.
- Provide advanced technical consultancy and assistance to various business units, in the design, implementation and troubleshooting of services and customer deliverables.
- Develops and communicates technology architecture plans and roadmaps to IT management, project managers, and technical team members.
- Maintains currency in relevant industry trends and methodology to provide mentorship and guidance to staff and vendors.
What you will need to succeed
- 5+ year experience in a strong background in technology services in a medium to large organisation.
- A Broad technical IT experience in networking, and IT security.
- An excellent understanding of Fortinet networking and security products.
- A thorough and up to date knowledge of network systems, network management systems and application monitoring systems
