This dynamic role offers the opportunity to provide client support; administration and maintenance of SQL databases, development of SQL management reports, assisting with troubleshooting database issues and hardware/software support for systems installed in Hospitals across Australia. Reporting to the Service Manager, this role serves the important function of providing prompt and efficient response to requests from the product team or customers for diagnosis, resolution and preventative maintenance of installed systems covered under SLA.
Working in a purpose built facility; you will join an innovative team in a fresh, open environment.
This role has a mix of responsibilities. You will be the specialist point of contact for application support (L2), specialist SQL report development, database troubleshooting and provide advice on the support, maintenance and optimisation of databases.
Responsibilities also include:SQL database installation, support and maintenance.SQL report development and testing.Applications Support.Provision of telephone support to clients as needed and supported by Service Desk (L1); Assisting with troubleshooting and resolution of hardware/software problems.Maintaining close contact and developing strong relationships with customers, to ensure the company meets its customer's service expectations.Travel to customer sites if needed.Be conscious of time billing, work effectively and efficiently and maintain communication file notes.Work as part of the Help desk and service team, supporting other team members and sharing knowledge and learning.
The role requires a person who is customer focused, technically smart, responsive and with an excellent telephone manner.
We expect candidates to have relevant work experience, and demonstrate a sound knowledge of commercial hardware/software systems.
Skill requirements include:Good computer literacy with Windows 10, Server 2019 & SQL 2012/2016, & HyperV knowledge, networking and internet Browsers & connectivity issues. (Exposure to remote access tools will be well regarded but not essential.)Intermediate to Advanced Microsoft SQL Server database installation, support and maintenance.Intermediate to Advanced SQL programming skills.Experience with building and maintaining servers.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.High level of initiative and good problem solving aptitude.Goal and results orientated, and enjoys a challenge.Fluent in written and spoken English and Australian Residency.
There will be an expectation to participate on a roster and work outside of normal business hours, usually once every 4-5 weeks. An attractive salary package will be negotiated based on skills and experience.
