Working as part of a team, this critical role within 7 East is responsible for the delivery of expert clinical care in one of our busy surgical units.
You will also be responsible for:Supervision of junior nursing staffParticipation in ongoing education and quality improvement programDocument, observe and report relevant nursing findings within the framework of nursing progressLiaise with patient, patient's family, medical and ancillary staff as required or requested
Classifications for this position will range between YP2 - YP9 ( $65,561 - $92'601 base salary per annum).
Your Contribution
As an experienced, dynamic Registered Nurse, your strong communication and organisational skills will allow you to work successfully in a multidisciplinary team environment. Your demonstrated experience in surgical nursing will see you hit the ground running in this position, and will allow you to effectively prioritise patient care.
You will also have:Current AHPRA RegistrationCurrent National criminal history check, or willing to obtain

7 East is a 28 bed surgical unit with subspecialties that include Upper Gastrointestinal, Hepatobiliary, Breast & Endocrine Surgery and Gastroenterology. Goals of care are focused around various diagnostic, therapeutic and curative interventions. The team are constantly examining their systems and processes, searching for efficiencies in patient care and excellence in patient outcomes.
