This is a great opportunity to play an instrumental role in the development and maintenance of various Digital Mobile Products within the business.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Continuous discovery and implementation of emerging technologies
- Recommend industry best-practices for continuous improvement
- Work closely with other Mobile Engineering scrum teams and partner with Product, Project Management, Quality, and Design departments
- Ensure Apple and Android apps get built and deployed into the app stores in a timely manner (according to schedule)
- Monitor timely engineering automation coverage of all Apple and Android apps (iOS, Android mobile)
- Define and help teams manage sanity, smoke, and regression automation testing suites for execution on proper builds (pull-requests, nightly, on-demand, feature, and release)
- Review and help team provide proper documentation for solutions and processes
- Identify and resolve daily issues and blockers
- Implement various build, release, and automation solutions
Our ideal candidate will bring:
- A good understanding of the concepts and requirements of DevOps, particularly applied to mobile apps
- Well versed with XCode management, Firebase, App Centre, Play store, App Store requirements and app management
- Working knowledge of handling development, distribution certificates and provisioning profiles
- Working knowledge of build tools like Gradle and/or Fastlane
- Experience with Bamboo and/or XCode build servers
- Continuous Build & Release Automation experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Able to challenge the status quo
