Job summary
Just imagine your future with usAt Aurecon we see the future through a very different lens. Do you? People, innovation, eminence and digital are at the heart of everything we do. Are you excited about the future? We are.
At Aurecon, we enable our people to work on some of the most challenging and complex projects around the world and to learn from the best!
What will you do?
We are experiencing significant growth within our Precincts and Land Infrastructure space. As a Civil Engineer, you will join our Land Infrastructure business, where you will play an integral role in a team of highly skilled specialists that 'bring ideas to life' for our clients. We have a deep understanding of our clients' challenges, and we work together to co-create innovate solutions that help to shape future Cities and Precincts.
As a trusted partner to our client, you will have the opportunity to work across the full infrastructure asset lifecycle, advise on investments and decisions that drive value and proactively respond to disruptive change. You will leverage and connect with the wider Aurecon team, external stakeholders, and clients to navigate through technical requirements, innovation strategies, frameworks, and development delivery pathways.
On a day-to-day basis, you will assist with the management and delivery of large multi-disciplinary infrastructure planning studies. This includes infrastructure planning and implementation of new Cities and Precincts from early concept planning, through approvals and into delivery/implementation.
Aside from day-to-day Engineering, you will act as a key member of the engineering team, who is eager to continue their learning and professional development; further build eminence; and enhance technical skills in engineering and design management.
What can you bring to the team?
Firstly, you will share our genuine passion for re-imagining engineering and be someone that actively pursues continuous learning to help shape the future. On a technical level, you will have hands on Project experience at most phases of a project's life cycle, particularly master planning, infrastructure studies, technical management, and design excellence. You will have hands on experience in Civil Engineering design, particularly with respect to land development and technical ability to coordinate and manage technical documentation across multidisciplinary projects.
Successful candidates will be great all-round communicators and problem solvers who are able to work on complex tasks across various sectors of the business while interacting with internal and external clients and dealing with middle to senior level professionals to form great relationships. You will showcase that you are a strong team player who works well in an agile and collaborative environment.
Degree Qualified or higher in Engineering or Project Management.
Our Aurecon Attributes describe the types of people we bring together for clients. We don't expect you to have all eight of the Attributes, but one that is unique to you.
Finally, we value that each of our team members brings something different to Aurecon. We look for people who have had a broad range of experiences throughout their career and can demonstrate how they have worked as part of a team to bring ideas to life.
