ABOUT THE ROLE G4S is partnering with Acucensus who are contracted to Transport for NSW, in working towards reducing casualty crashes by 20-30%. To help fulfil this target we are recruiting CasualMobile Speed Camera Operators. We are currently recruiting for our Goulburn Depo.
The roles work relatively autonomously, collecting an enforcement vehicle at the start of a shift from a depot and then going to designated positions, aligning the camera and then moving to a new location when the period ends. Interactions during this period will be with a Supervisor and the control centre which will operate the camera.
Duties of the MSC Operator will include: Fully adhering to all road rules and demonstrating safe driving behaviour at all times Performing a risk assessment of the site prior to each enforcement session and report sites that are unusable with accompanying Site Maintenance Reports with photos where appropriate Coordinating with the control room for camera set up and testing prior to session commencement Remaining alert and attentive through an enforcement session Adhering to business rules in responding to angry or aggressive behaviour Performing pre and post shift vehicle inspections Maintaining regular communications with the control room throughout the shift
To be considered for this role you must demonstrate the following: Full clean driving licence Excellent time management and organisational skills Comfortable being seated for extended periods of time in a vehicle Comfortable with working alone in regional and remote locations Comfortable with occasional overnight travel/accommodation (which will be provided for the operator) 24 x 7 schedule
