Currently seeking an experienced Senior Design Engineer to join the team.

As Senior Design Engineer, you will:Leading, manage and provide guidance to, and oversee the work of other design engineers, designers and draftspersons; ensuring the technical accuracy of their workResponsible for mechanical engineering aspects of projects and integration with other design teams and disciplines.Responsible for producing mechanical engineering documentation including technical specifications and datasheets, and for contributing to preparation of equipment and maintenance manuals.Manage technical aspects of procurement activities: ensure technical aspects of sub-supplier deliveries satisfy project requirements, meet design standards and QEHS requirements.Conduct fabrication workshop inspections and site inspections of plant and equipment if required.Participate in and lead cold commissioning of domestic and overseas projects if required.Participate in client meetings when required; participate in design risk assessments, HAZOP studies, etc.

To succeed, you will need:At least 5 to 8 years of design experience in a medium to large process industry projects preferably minerals related.Engineering Graduate with Mechanical or Structural engineering degree.A thorough understanding of Mechanical Engineering principles and practices including fluid mechanics and mechanical equipment design.Professional and positive approach with high level planning and organizing skills.Strong diagnostic, problem solving and decision-making skills covering design through to plant operation project phases.Ability to self-manage, lead a team, and deliver multiple projects concurrently.Good communication & presentation skills.Willingness for infrequent, short term travel (domestic and international)
