In this role you will be supporting our Maintenance team in attending to repairs and breakdowns of production machinery in a timely manner. We are looking for an experienced electrician to cover a Saturday - Wednesday roster in order to support the team.

Daily Tasks:Attending to repairs and breakdowns of production machinery in a timely mannerReduce reactive maintenance and proactively improve unplanned downtimeAssisting in developing and introduction maintenance programs to support all internal stakeholdersEnsure the execution of safety standards and quality assurance practices into all repairs and maintenance activitiesIdentifying and escalating Animal Welfare, Food Safety & Quality issues, hazards and risks.
To be successful in this role, you will need to:Queensland Electrical license and an Australian trade qualificationContinuous Improvement Qualification (belt)Industrial experience in installations, fault finding, repairs and maintenance on production equipmentSound interpersonal skills with the ability to develop relationships, communicate and collaborate effectively with key stakeholdersAn active problem solver and quick thinker to ensure that issues are resolved effectively and efficientlyProven skills in the areas of attention to detail, information processing and problem solving with the ability to multitaskSound ability to interrogate automated applications, processing machinery and equipmentStrong electrical aptitude of; SCADA, comms, and connectivity, including inverters, power conversion and DANFOSS/variable speed drivesAbility to identify and introduce improvements in maintenance practices and plant performanceExperience with Maximo or similar maintenance program as a CMMS would be an advantage
