Built on proven and scalable infrastructure as an enterprise-wide solution, their technology platform rapidly deploys and seamlessly optimises programs and pathways across the continuum of care. They are on the lookout for a Management Accountant to join their team in Perth.

The Role

Reporting to the local CFO, the focus for the Management Accountant is to contribute to the accurate and timely reporting of financial results and to deliver insightful reporting and analysis for management decision making. This may include, but not be limited to:-

Month-end & quarter-end close, P&L analysis and preparation of reporting schedulesContribute to results analysis and commentary to identify key performance driversContribute to monthly/quarterly reporting for distribution to managementReporting and analysis on capital expenditure and SG&A costsBusiness partnering - supporting specific areas of the business with reporting and analysis and the preparation of their annual budget and quarterly forecastsSupport the company-wide annual budget and quarterly forecast processesAccounting for profit and loss and balance sheet accounts including preparation of monthly journals and general ledger reconciliations (task shared across multiple accounting teams)Assist with implementing and maintaining internal reporting controls and proceduresProject work as required including the development of new management reports and tools

About You

As the successful Management Accountant, you will demonstrate previous success in a management or financial accounting position ideally gained working within a large, complex business and/or a multi-jurisdictional/international business environment. You will have outstanding technical accounting ability combined with strong analytical skills and hands-on approach to understanding processes. You will add value with your exceptional Excel skills and demonstrated experience in planning, organising and problem solving, and of course reducing costs.

Skills & Experience

Degree in a business-oriented disciplineCA or CPA qualified (or nearing completion)Strong analytical and problem-solving skillsStrong communication skills & attention to detailIntermediate level knowledge of Microsoft ExcelProven time management skills.
