The Strategy, Information Management and Governance Office (SIMGO) within Health ICT are a multi-disciplinary team of information and data specialists that provide strategic direction for information governance and management practice.
We engage with stakeholders, colleagues and clients to help solve business problems, and overcome information challenges to deliver improved health and wellbeing outcomes to the Tasmanian community.
The Role:
The Senior Policy and Project Officer role understands the complexity of the information landscape, the importance of communicating concepts and ideas to a broad range of stakeholders in business language, and the criticality of managing expectations to negotiate and deliver mutually beneficial project outcomes.
The successful applicant will have a keen work ethic, a pleasant and confident outlook comfortable communicating at all levels, and a capacity to consistently deliver quality outputs. They will be expected to assume a significant degree of autonomy when required, as well as contribute effectively to joint initiatives as a key senior team member.

Position Features:
From time to time, the role may require: Some duties to be undertaken outside normal working hours
Travel between sites to be undertaken
Intra- and/or Interstate travel
Details of Appointment:
Permanent full time day work, position working 76 hours per fortnight commencing as soon as possible.
*notwithstanding hours may be negotiated with the successful applicant Applicants should note that, for a period of six months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time and part time vacancies.

Eligibility:
Applicants should note the following criteria are desirable: Appropriate tertiary qualifications in business management, information management, information systems, ICT project management or related discipline.
Current Drivers Licence.
