Working in Newcastle, the Hunter Valley, Nelson Bay, and Central Coast no 2 days will be the same.
As a Concrete Resurfacer team member your tasks will include Concrete Preparation, Concrete Resurfacing, Crack Repairs, Concrete Polishing, Application of Epoxy and Urethane Products, Pressure Cleaning, Sealing Driveways and maintaining equipment. You must have an eye for detail and good communication skills as you will be dealing with customers from all walks of life.
To be successful we require;Minimum 3 years experience working in the Building Industry in some capacityExperience with various types of hand tools including grinders and gurneysStrong work ethicSafety as a core beliefThe ability to work autonomously after your training periodDrivers Licence and Construction Industry OHS Whitecard
Experience dealing with customers onsite will be very highly regarded.
Experience with Epoxy or Urethane Products will also be thought of highly as will any concreting skills and knowledge. You may be a Trades Assistant, Tradesman Painter, Concreter or Carpenter looking for a change or a highly multi-skilled General Labourer looking for your next step.
Ordinary hourly full time pay rate of $36/hour. Hours of work can vary up to and between 45 and 60 per week with core hours of 6:30am-4pm Monday to Friday. Weekend work will also be applicable from time to time so you must make yourself available as required. If successful after the training period the opportunity for a fully maintained company vehicle will be presented.
