job detailsWe are seeking a candidate who can work as a Claims and Payments Integrity Officer on behalf of a Federal Government department at an APS 5 level.
This role is part of a team who are responsible for engaging with providers and participants of the scheme, to request information and ensure supporting evidence is provided, to assist with facilitation assurance activities of sampled payments for the scheme. The team report on the outcomes of these assurance processes. This role is essential in establishing and maintaining positive working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders to improve the payments system.

The successful candidate will be expected to provide operational support and advice to assist in achieving positive outcomes.
Duties:
- Compliance reporting to show outcomes of reviews and further actions that need to be taken
- Administrative support for the programs
- Engage with external stakeholders (participants, planners and providers) to review certain claims
- Modify compliance/testing documentation where required to ensure assurance program relevancy
- Work with teams to assist in investigation and reporting on payment/claims anomalies
Key skills/experience required:
- Compliance experience would be highly beneficial
- Ability to apply legislation/criteria to complex issues
- Excellent stakeholder engagement skills and the ability to navigate complex and sensitive conversations
- High attention to detail
- Excellent administrative skills
