The Role
The Patient Transport Orderly is integral to the Patient Transport Department within Support Services. In this role you will deliver friendly and superior patient care and perform the duties of patient transfer throughout the hospital.
You will make an impact by:Willingness to work in a team environmentProviding safe patient transport and the transportation of items within the operating suites and interdepartmental transfers Carrying out other associated duties as requested Being respectful, understanding and compassionate within Epworths Values and BehavioursWorking safely in accordance with Epworths Health and Safety protocols
To be successful in this role
You will haveTime management and ability to prioritise tasksAbilty to work across a variety of shift times including weekdays and weekendsDemonstrated a strong customer service focusAbility to take direction and also work unsupervisedExcellent interpersonal skills and the ability communicate clearly
