Your new role
This is an opportunity to work within an established Government agency whose focus is assisting the community, more specifically people with disabilities.
On offer is a long-term contract that will build your exposure and career in a prominent Federal Government Agency.
Your new role
In this role you will be undertaking procedural, clerical, administrative and operational tasks in a team environment. This will be demonstrated through tasks including but not limited to
- Data entry, coordination and record keeping
- Analysis and interpretation of information referring back to the departments policies and procedures
- Administration and reporting procedures
- Providing customer service via email, telephone and written correspondence.
- Resolving participants enquiries both in person and virtually
What will you need to be successful in this role
As this role will be working within a Federal Department, it is essential that you:
- Are an Australian Citizen
- Have previous administration and customer service experience preferably working in the Federal or State government
- Availability to work full-time hours Monday - Friday on a long term basis
- Have the ability to obtain both a working with children check and a yellow card
The ideal candidate for this role will be professional, confident and adaptable with demonstrated experience in the following areas
- Decision-making and problem-solving
- The ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Management of confidential and sensitive information
- Data entry skills with the ability to quickly and accurately enter data into systems
- High attention to detail across various administrative tasks
- The ability to engage with diverse audiences and internal/external stakeholders
- High performance working in both autonomously and as part of a team
- Excellent computer, written and verbal communication skills
- Time Management and flexibility
- Excellent punctuality and attendance
