Job summary
This role provides the opportunity for an experienced workers compensation case manager to use their NSW workers compensation experience in role that focuses on early intervention. You will proactively and effectively manage activities and injury management planning aspects of a new workers compensation claims within the legislation, ensuring compliance and drive to achieve performance measureOverview
Due to internal development, a role has become available as a Senior Early Intervention Claims Specialist for a specialist insurer. The team based in Sydney CBD offers an open, transparent, and respectful culture where your experience and passion for RTW are valued and career advancement opportunities.
This is a permanent full-time role with no ongoing active case management with work-from-home flexibility.
The role:
As a senior, you will take ownership to mentor and coach team members to deliver best practice and outcomes. Assess all aspects of liability, recovery, and quantum pursuant to legislation, and guidelines and in accordance with the Accountability Framework. Prepare and implement strategies for appropriate claims management to achieve the optimum outcome and minimisation of claim costs. Ensure payments (weekly benefit and other) are made, in a timely manner and according to Accountability Framework delegations. Apply accurate estimates for all new claims according to guidelines and all information received. Liaise with all internal and external stakeholders to progress strategies and actions.
