Office ManagerVetro Furniture is a new and emerging company specialising in domestic modern dining tables & chairs for the Australian market with a customer base spanning all across Australia. Our vision is to provide Australia with innovative and leading design furniture and to grow and expand the ever changing market with service that is professional, quick thinking, engaging and down to earth.
The company was formed 4 years ago and has a broad range of customers with our showroom and office located in Cheltenham Victoria
We currently have a position to join our small, honest, fun and versatile team as an Office Administration assistant to further develop our business and strengthen our customer service and execution to ensure our clientele satisfaction.
The right candidate must have excellent customer service skills to portray the company vision to further strengthen the foundation of the company. The ability to prioritise tasks and complete with a high standard is essential. Analytical & data entry experience is required with strong telephone communication skills are very highly regarded.
Reporting directly to the Owner/Director, your key responsibilities will include:
Office dutiesProcess customer stock ordersInvoice for goods deliveredLiase with warehouse for goods deliveredFollow up payment of accounts Reconciliation of accounts in XeroBasic Book - keepingArrange and follow up spare part requirements for customersFollow up container orders and shipping documentation with suppliers;Liaise with shipping agents as to ETA dates and documentation for containers; Liaise with Warehouse as to ETA dates of containers;Obtain and check packing lists from suppliers;Assist with product submissions for Furniture ShowsInform customers of new stock items as well as discontinued stock items;Inform stores of change to cost and sell prices of products;Assist with store queries (re products);Assist with store claims.Assist Owner / Director with ad hoc duties as and when required;Assist General Manager with ad hoc duties as and when required.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Ability to work well with others
- Effective communicator
- Ability to multi-task
- Excellent organisational and planning skills
- Proficient in use of Microsoft Office Products (Outlook, Word Excel)
- Use of Xero and CIN7 (Preferred)
- Exposure to Furniture (Preferred but not essential)
Work hours - 40 hours per week
Remuneration is $65,000 - $69,999 + Superannuation
