About the Role Coordination and oversee assigned programs offered at Atwea College to meet the training needs of the community and the students including timetabling, scheduling and costings of programs.Program Administration including resource ordering and distribution, student enrolment, contracts, reporting and budgeting.Ensure assigned programs and staff associated with these programs are delivering premium training and support service to the learners.Assisting with the recruitment, management and support of trainers and assessors.Business and program promotion, development and maintaining professional relationships with key stakeholders including local business, industry bodies, and the general public to promote Atwea College programs and services.
About YouSound and comprehensive coordination skills (minimum 3 4 years experience in a supervisory role).Excellent interpersonal skills including excellent communication skills, sound problem solving skills, demonstrated initiative and demonstrated ability to prioritise and delegate tasks, high level of attention to detail.Extensive computer skills with a working knowledge of databases. Project management experience. Strong planning and organisational/time management skills, with the ability to prioritise important tasks when under pressure and proven ability to meet deadlines and achieve established targets/objectives. The ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders, problem solving skills including negotiation skills, with the ability to lead staff and drive performance accountability in others. Demonstrated initiative and self-motivation.Established and demonstrated connections with business, industry, community, and Government departments.
Your Skills & QualsCurrent Certificate IV in TAE40116 or working towards it.Extensive experience in the vocational education sector with a minimum of 2 years experience coordinating training and assessment services within an RTO.Understanding of the standards for Registered Training Organisations and processes and systems within the Vocational Education and Training Quality Framework.Solid knowledge of Vocational Training Packages and the associated implementation guides and an understanding of the Australian core skills framework.Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively.Demonstrated computer proficiency with knowledge of MS Office programs.Desirable - Demonstrated experience in working with persons who have barriers to learning i.e. LLN (Language Literacy and Numeracy).
