They are seeking an IT procurement professional to deliver a high profile scope of work on a long term contract.
Job Description
- Support the project manager with all activities relating to end-to-end procurement from source to contract management
- Support for VendorPanel and Oracle in terms of publishing RFQs and coordinating questions from suppliers during market engagement
- Be responsible for end to end lifecycle of procurement documentation from sourcing to contract execution
- Assist in the development of requirements, evaluation criteria and other documents required to support procurement events
- Support IT market analysis and proposal evaluation, negotiations and contract awarding
- Provide advice, input and intelligence on procurement lifecycle management activities, along with agreed progress and planning reporting
- Anticipates and manages the risk associated with the procurement activity
The Successful Applicant
- Minimum 3 years of experience working on ICT procurement activities > $1m.
- High level of stakeholder management and attention to detail
- Demonstrated ability to lead projects and analyse business requirements related to procurement
- Ability to document procurement requirements to be easily understandable by stakeholders
- Ability to identify and effectively manage issues, risks and scope change early and clearly
- Knowledge of procurement processes (Victorian Government procurement process desirable).
- Ability to manage own time, including working across multiple tasks at once and prioritising accordingly
