The Role
We are diversifying our portfolio and are rapidly expanding, in saying so we are on the lookout for a Service Technician (Electronics) full-time permanent position to be part of our team.
You will be responsible for managing all service related activities both in-house which include RMA's and on customers premises including commissioning of products.
We understand your experience wont exactly match below and relevant substitutes are perfectly acceptable. Read, understand & communicate technical schematics & product manualsTest, troubleshoot & repair products and provide quality assuranceDiagnose and understand where a quality assurance related fault exists and report to QA teamAbility to use a soldering iron and operate various electronic test equipment (multimeter, oscilloscope etc..)Circuit board level repair where requiredConfigure products for customer based projectsAssist with on-site system commissioning and customer supportPrepare quote estimates for RMA'sProficient with computer & networking principlesProvide courteous, prompt & efficient service support to customers via phone/emailExcellent customer service and communication skills, both written and verbalProblem solver with strong organisational & time management skillsQualifications in a related Electronics fieldPrefer 2 years prior experience in Electronic Service & Repair environmentHold a full Victorian drivers licenceAbility to be a team player, as well as work autonomously, you need to bring a "Can Do" attitude!
