About the role

Gen Physio is a multi-disciplinary, collaborative allied health provider that specialises in delivering home visit services. We are seeking New Graduate Occupational Therapists to join our friendly, collaborative, and supportive team based in the Western Sydney region. This role will help you develop your newly acquired skills, shadowing and working with our experienced clinicians, you will be responsible for diagnosing and treating speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders and offering our clients treatments, interventions, education, and support.

Duties
Consulting with our multi-disciplinary clinical teams you will manage a diverse caseload from Paediatrics through to Geriatrics Liaise, analyse, and plan with a dedicated buddying system you will be able to provide treatment and therapy plans Through a collaborative approach with our dedicated clinicians, you will provide training and education to family/caregivers and other professionals to ensure the client is getting a truly community-orientated service Working in partnership with our graduate accelerator program be able to function as a clinician on the road and manage your own diary Graduate Development
Dedicated 12-month discipline-specific graduate program that will accelerate your career Have dedicated shadow days, ensuring our highly skilled clinicians are setting you up for success Developing and understanding complex cases by buddying up with industry-leading clinical experts Enhancing your skill base with a $2000 yearly professional development allowance Setting you up for success and enabling your continuous improvement with 3 days of paid study leave Annual symposium with subject matter experts and special guest presenters Weekly/monthly development plans with experienced team managers and clinical supervisors Career development and succession planning for senior clinical roles, team management, and clinical supervisory roles Supplied equipment including laptop, mobile phone, and discipline-related starter kit Skills and experience Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Occupational Therapy Full AHPRA registration National Police Check, First Aid, and CPR (or willing to obtain) Public Indemnity (PI) Insurance with a minimum of $10m cover (or willing to obtain) NDIS and Working with Children Checks (or willing to obtain) Perks
