Our client, a leading infrastructure business with projects across Victoria are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Safety Manager with tier one experience.
Overview:
This is a great opportunity to join a leading upper tier contractor that has all the systems and processes in place that will make this an easy transition for you. Were looking for a Safety Manager from a top tier contractor with a background of liaising with government stakeholders and leading teams. You will be a first class communicator being able to lead others having had a successful track record of working on road, rail or bridge projects.
Duties include:
- Lead a team of Advisors
- Daily site walks and engagement with site staff
- Develop and implement safety management systems.
- Audit & review safety management systems, procedures & policies
- Liaise with key stakeholders (Clients, Unions, subcontractors)
- Month end reporting
Requirements
- Tier 1-2 infrastructure experience
- Degree qualified with a Diploma In Safety
- Five plus years at a similar level
- Worked on projects above $150 Million and above
