The client is looking for a team player, with great communication skills that could hit the ground running on the implementation of energy efficiency programs, including projects related to implementing renewable's across the departments portfolio.
Role Purpose
The Senior Program Manager will work with the Manager to deliver and manage the Sustainability and Environment programs and initiatives.
Key responsibilities of this role include:
- Managing deliverable and project requirements across the project life cycle through the effective deployment of project planning, risk management, cost and contract management strategies
- Managing the day-to-day implementation of the program of work
- Building and maintaining collaborative and constructive relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders
- Operating in accordance with recognised best practice standards for contract management to ensure the deployment of effective risk mitigation, management of external suppliers and to achieve quality standards
- Providing input and analysis to strategy development, policy development, investment advice and investment prioritisation processes as a result of lessons learned from the pilot program.
- Working collaboratively with internal and external teams/project resources on a range of matters including planning, design, legal and communications/engagement.
- Assisting with the preparation of program feasibility information, including establishing budgets and developing business cases for potential program expansion.
- Working across a range of project/program related activities to ensure the effective delivery work programs.
- Ensure safety and compliant operations of equipment and technologies are installed...
