The role assumes two key focus areas;
1. ESG Reporting
This position is key to building the busineses ESG capability including establishing data capture, the set up of processes and the ongoing development of reporting to track and analyse performance.
2. Control Governance
Implementation, maintenance and improvement of the Groups control framework and processes
More specifically, your duties will include;
Implement and build data sources, flows and capture of ESG data in systems to enable reporting with minimal manual intervention Considering external market developments regarding ESG reporting Preparing data and information for external ESG reporting and working with Investor Relations Conducting review of internal processes and reporting on issues, observations, and control improvements Assisting in the implementation of new controls and processes to drive greater data quality and efficiency Documenting key finance and system processes Maintaining a Risk and Control Matrix for key processes Review of the design effectiveness and tests of the operational effectiveness of controls Assist with building and implementation of required systems, processes, and policies to progress financial and commercial business maturity Drive improvements in reporting, controls, and adherence to group policies Support the financial control and accounting function for all regions globally Provide backup support to other finance team roles, as required Ad-hoc project work as required About You
Approximately 3+ years experience working in controls, external audit, internal audit or ESG A tertiary qualification in accounting, commerce, or finance Partial or complete CA/CPA/ICA qualifications highly regarded Financial services industry experience will be favorable A keen eye for detail and desire to probe further into data Ability to perform data and statistical analysis to spot trends and anomalies Ability to understand and become proficient with new software and systems Strong communication skills both verbal and written If this sounds like you, hit "APPLY NOW" to submit your interest.
