About the opportunity
The role of a Clinical Specialist Paediatric Physiotherapist is to assist the Clinical Excellence team with projects, service improvement, training/mentoring and clinical supervision, along with managing a specialised paediatric clinical caseload. This will involve supporting children aged 0-14 years in the community, working towards their developmental goals and determining the best solutions to meet their needs. You will play an exciting role in supporting the development of paediatric physiotherapy services at KEO.
Responsibilities of a Clinical Specialist Paediatric Physiotherapist include: Assisting the Clinical Excellence team with service improvement, projects, training/mentoring and clinical supervisionDeliver a broad range of evidence informed intervention strategies, standardised assessments, and parent training to support a child to reach their goals in a variety of settings Liaise and collaborate with a transdisciplinary team to design and deliver comprehensive support plans and reportsDevelop, Implement, and evaluate high quality and comprehensive assessments in line with evidence-based practiseContribute to the development and implementation of processes related to Paediatric PhysiotherapistsDevelop and evaluate high-quality resources for team, participants and their supportsAssist in monitoring the programs and their progressParticipate in scheduled performance appraisals and undertake further training and skill development as identified for optimum ongoing performance in the roleEngage with the peak bodies to ensure accreditation requirements are being metSupport clinical educators and supervisors in their roles and activitiesBuild the culture and engagement of our people through effective people leadershipWork with national and NDIS specific policies and proceduresActively contribute to supervision and case conference meetingsAttend team huddles, discipline specific and multidisciplinary case conference, and coffee club each week Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to share knowledge and ideas Celebrate wins with your participants, families, and your colleagues and leadership team Attend opportunities for networking, learning and development

Skills and experience required: Tertiary Qualifications in Physiotherapy Minimum 5 Years experience, with 2 years in area of paediatric specialisation Registered with AHPRA Genuine passion and commitment to working with childrenExcellent listening and communication skills Police Check Drivers License and Car Victorian working with Childrens Check NDIS Worker Screening Check
