About the Role
An exciting opportunity currently exists for Internal Sales Executives, working hours is from 7am to 3pm AEDT to cover the New Zealand market and based at our office in Smithfield.
You will manage your own allocated portfolio of established customer accounts; and hunting, developing new and existing customers within your sales territory. You will maintain existing business levels through regular contact and selling of products and value-added services; identify growth opportunities within the portfolio and develop these customers in order to drive the required sales growth.
Key Accountabilities / Responsibilities
· To generate and qualify sales lead opportunities to drive profitable sales growth
· To identify sales opportunities within Portfolio, ensuring that the largest opportunities for growth are prioritised accordingly
· To create a specific plan of action for managing Portfolio customers within your Sales region, that is maintained on a quarterly basis, relating to the local business strategy
· Deliver sales, leads, margin growth, insight and contact acquisition through telephone conversations and ensure face to face visit requirements are coordinated through aligned Account Managers
· Demonstrate strong commercial awareness, ensuring that sales targets and business needs are aligned with customer expectations
· Use of initiative to identify and develop opportunities with companies not currently on the database
· Contribute to a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement through regular one-to-ones, team meetings and ad hoc feedback
· Liaise effectively across functions to ensure customers are delighted
Qualifications / Skills & Experience
· Must have demonstrable ability of prospecting/cold-calling, account building and maintenance, and closing sales opportunities
· Demonstrate an ability to effectively manage various tasks and projects and handle competing priorities
· Effective negotiator and influencer with outstanding written and verbal communication skills
· Highly motivated, Target-driven and competitive by nature
· Strong interpersonal skills forming and maintaining positive relationship at all levels
· Proven ability in delivering a great customer experience
· Strong planning, prioritisation and time management skills
· Proven experience of working in an outbound sales environment (desirable)
· Knowledge of SAP and Microsoft packages (desirable)
· Proven knowledge of using CRM and QM2 functionality (desirable)
