Are you a finance professional with project experience? We are currently recruiting for a Project Finance Officer to work for a construction business based in Kalgoorlie WA. This would be a great opportunity for an accountant looking to get a foothold in the Construction PMO sector. The role can be based in Kalgoorlie full time or you also have the option to be based in Perth for 2 weeks out of the month.

Role overview
To provide project and finance management support to the project and contract management teams. Duties will include processing of accounts payable, payroll and admin tasks as required.
Skills and experience
- Qualifications in business or finance related disciplines or the equivalent level of experience
- Strong communication skills - you will be required to provide project information and data to stakeholders both internally and externally
- Ability to adapt in a changing and challenging environment to ensure project deadlines are met
- Experience of processing end of month finance reporting including accruals, journals, and forecasting
- You will need to be highly organised as you will be responsible for processing and purchase orders and invoices, ordering project consumables and PPE, as well as scheduling meetings
- You will need current valid right to work in Australia for this role as visa sponsorship is not possible for this role
