Gippsland Southern Health Service (GSHS) is a major provider of healthcare in the South Gippsland Shire. GSHS offers a broad range of services that meet the needs of a diverse and sparsely populated area. With two main acute facilities based at Leongatha and Korumburra, GSHS offers a broad range of specialist, general, acute, subacute, ambulatory, residential aged care and community services.
About the Role
GSHS invites applications from suitably experienced Endorsed Enrolled Nurses to work at Kooroman House, a 36 bed residential facility located in Leongatha. The role works under the direction and supervision of the Nurse Unit Manager/Associate Nurse Unit Manager and is responsible at all times for his/her actions and accountable in providing delegated nursing care.
The successful applicant should possess the following: Appropriate qualifications as an Endorsed Enrolled Nurse. Relevant aged care experience. Current AHPRA registration (Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency) as a Medication Endorsed Enrolled Nurse. Good interpersonal skills. Organisational and problem-solving skills. Time management and decision-making skills. Evidence of ongoing self-development.
Staff have access to supportive staff mentoring, education and development programs. Salary Packaging is available for all staff. The successful applicant will be required to provide a current satisfactory police check.
