Job Description
Manage all IT devices within the stores management and their lifecycle (from
purchasing/requesting to HQ) to disposal accordingly to sustainability policies and
also preserving information security and control structures and tracking/maintaining
hardware and software inventory.
· Control budgets, purchases and invoicing related to IT services.
· Understand the cost-benefit reports, monitoring vendors to ensure that IT local
services are as accurate (cost vs quality) as expected and required.
· install, configure, and maintain computer hardware operating systems and
applications, and networks
· talk staff or clients through a series of actions, either face-to-face or over the phone,
to help set up systems or resolve issues
· troubleshoot system and network problems, diagnosing and solving hardware or
software faults
· provide support, including procedural documentation and relevant reports
· follow diagrams and written instructions to repair a fault or set up a system
· set up new users' accounts and profiles and deal with password issues
· work continuously on a task until completion (or referral to third parties, if
appropriate)
· rapidly establish a good working relationship with customers and other
professionals, such as software developers
· test and evaluate new technology
· conduct electrical safety checks on computer equipment.
· Implement and control IT policies and best practice guides for the organization
· Identify and act on opportunities to improve and update software and systems
· Oversee timelines for major IT projects including system updates, upgrades,
migrations and outages
· Identify opportunities for team training and skills advancement
The Successful Applicant
Experience in similar role preferably in retail sector· Strong and fluid communication skills
· Retail Sector Experience a plus
· Ability to work in fast paced environmentAustralian Citizen/PR is Mandatory
