Your new role
As the Team Leader you will assist the Head of Collections in leading the collections team to ensure the company provides a high level of service to its clients in the collection of overdue accounts.
Some of your responsibilities will include:
- Overseeing teams - managing recoveries and skip tracing
- Reviewing and referring files for litigation
- Manage and maintain Consumer Collection accounts
- Achieving targets and KPIs set by management
- Support the Head of Collections in conducting training sessions and one on ones with the collections team.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements
- Liaise with clients by providing effective advice and guidance and develop and foster new client relationships.
- Foster and promote Quality Assurance throughout the collections team
Your skills and experience
- Experience in debt collection and recovery action.
- Resilient and can hold complex conversation
- Ability to build relationships and work collaboratively with clients and organisational peers
- Strong verbal communication skills including the ability to negotiate respectfully and communication rationale for decisions made
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Quality assurance mindset
- Accuracy and high attention to detail
- Work under time constraints with a diverse group of stakeholders/clients
- Collaborative, yet work independently and take initiative
- Deliver high quality customer service
