Job summary
Tangatours, located on beautiful Moreton Island, is looking for a motivated individual to join our team as a Junior accounts and Administrator!Moreton Island is the 3rd largest sand island in the world and is a sub-tropical paradise complete with wide-open beaches, an abundance of wildlife, and plenty of outdoors activities. Uniquely, we are only a 1 hour and 15 minutes ferry launch away from Brisbane, the state capital of Queensland.
We are seeking a graduate to work closely with our Accounts department. You will have attention to detail and the ability to provide accurate and quality work to a high standard. This role is challenging and varied but rewarding in both experience and lifestyle.
Qualifications and experiencePrevious experience working in administration/ accounts desired;The ability to multi-task and work autonomously or as part of a team;Competency using excel and word, as well as attention to detail and accurate data entry skills;An innovative and resourceful problem solver to achieve daily tasks;Dependable, organised, and unafraid of going above and beyond when required;Passionate about the tourism industry;Working with Xero knowledge preferred.
Tasks and responsibilities Responding to Bookings and Enquiries; General Office Administration; Deliver excellent customer service; Accounts data entry, reconciliations and reporting; Assisting with payrol;lManage controllable expenses and supplies with approved budgets;Assist manager to coordinate inventory and supplies;Track the progress of weekly goals and complete the tasks.
